## An option for every rider

We work with multiple leasing providers and types. This can take various forms: part from your gross monthly salary, gross end-of-year bonus or gross bonus. Some companies work with a cafeteria plan, on the basis of which the lease is established.

After the lease period, you can usually exchange or take over your bicycle at a predetermined residual value, free of charge.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### What is the advantage of leasing a Cowboy through my employer?
Leasing through your employer is fiscally very interesting, since the monthly leasing instalments are taken from your gross salary. Leasing through your employer is on average 40% cheaper than a private purchase. The net deduction from your salary starts from as low as €54 a month spread over a period of 36 months.

 After the lease period, you can usually exchange or take over your bicycle at a predetermined residual value, free of charge.

### How long is the leasing period?
Usually, the leasing period is 36 months. The instalments are deducted from your gross salary on a monthly basis until the end of this period. This could also be a longer or shorter period, depending on which local partner you lease through.

### What happens if I leave my employer?
There are different possibilities depending on the situation. It's best to discuss the options with your employer.

### Can I add the Cowboy theft insurance to my leasing order?
No, it's usually not possible to add our theft insurance to the offer. Most of our leasing partners have their own insurance against theft, accidents, and damages, included in the leasing package. It is of course possible to purchase our insurance privately as an addition to the insurance included in the leasing package.

### Can I add Cowboy Care to my leasing order?
No, it's usually not possible to add our Cowboy Care subscription to the offer. Most of our leasing partners take care of their own maintenance service. It is of course possible to purchase our care plan privately as an addition to the service included in the leasing package. If you leasing package includes a service budget, you can also use this budget to purchase our Care plan.

### Can I add accessories to my order?
Yes, you can add both the bike and accessories to your order. Please note that some partners don't consider smartphone mounts* as well as matching phone cases as leasable. Please get in touch with your local partner to get more information on this topic.

### I already purchased/pre-ordered a bike with you. Can I use this order to lease via one of your partners?
Unfortunately not. The only option here would be to cancel your order and place a new one through the local leasing partner.

### What happens if I want to return my Cowboy?
In general, this is not possible. When you receive your bike, it's very important to check it carefully for any defects and faults before activating it. In case your bike was delivered with any damages, please contact our customer service. An exchange for the same bike is possible in certain cases. You can find our [return policy here](/pages/returns).

### Which Cowboy models can I get through a leasing or cycle to work scheme?
You can request your lease or Cycle to Work purchase for all of our current models: Classic, Cruiser, Cruiser ST, Cross and Cross ST. You won't be able to lease a Circular model. Those models are exclusively available in our online store.

### Do I need to take an appointment before visiting a store?
If you're interested in testing the bike, we recommend booking a test ride in advance.  For repairs, calling ahead is recommended to make sure they're available to welcome you.

### Can every store handle repairs?
Most of our Certified Partners offer repair services. Use the “Repair” filter above to find the ones that do.

### How long does a repair take, and how much does it cost?
It depends on the type of repair and the shop. You can request a quote before any work is done.

### Can I test all bike models at every location?
Test ride availability varies by shop. Visit the [Test Ride page](/pages/test-ride) and select your preferred model to see where you can try it.

### Are the bikes in stock, and can I leave with one immediately?
Some shops have bikes in stock. Call ahead to check availability. In all cases, every shop can order the perfect bike for you, configured to your preference with the accessories you want. It will be delivered to the shop and assembled by their team, ready for you to ride.

### Are there other places where I can test a Cowboy bike?
Yes. Our Mobile Test Riders can bring the bike to you – at home, at work, or any other place you'd like. Check out our [Test Ride page](/pages/test-ride) to see if you're in our coverage zone and book a test ride.

### How can I become a Cowboy partner store?
To join the Cowboy Partner Network as a certified shop or service center, submit an application through our [Become a Partner page](/pages/become-a-partner). Tell us a bit about your business and location and we'll be in touch with the next steps.

 Approved partners get access to training, tools, spare parts and dedicated support.

### How can I book an appointment for a service?
To book a service appointment, simply use your Cowboy app:

 - **For repairs**: Open the app → Support → Chat with us. Our team will help diagnose the issue and guide you to the right solution. If needed, you'll be able to book an appointment directly.
 - **For On-Demand Service**: Tap the question mark at the bottom of your screen to open the service request option. You can also order parts through the website or app and then book an appointment once they arrive.
 You'll find your service history anytime in the Support tab of the app.

### How can I book a test ride?
Test rides are free and easy to book through our [Test Ride page](/pages/test-ride). Just choose your city, pick a time, and one of our local experts will meet you with the model of your choice.

 You can also try a Cowboy at one of our certified partner stores.

 You'll be able to ask questions, try the bike and get a feel for the ride before you decide.

### How can I find a certified Cowboy partner store?
Visit our [Stores page](/pages/stores) to find certified partner shops near you. These independent bike shops across Europe offer test rides, sales, servicing and repairs.

 Use the filters in the store locator to check which services are available at each location.

### How can I track my order?
You can follow your order anytime by visiting your customer portal at account.cowboy.com/orders. There you'll find the latest updates, including delivery status, tracking links when available, and your invoice.

### How can I contact Cowboy?
